Well even though I’m not a fan of the big ten network, I jumped aboard so I could watch the Ohio State Buckeyes first home football game on TV. Originally I had planned to switch to DirecTv whom I had scheduled to come out the Sat morning of the game, but then on Thursday a few days before, my cable company, Insight picked up the station so I decided to cancel the DirecTv and stay with Insight for the time being. I’m now fighting with Insight to enable the serial port on the Digital Set Top box, a motorola DCT-2224 so I can change the channels with MythTv, but they refuse. I think I’ll probably end up going the IR emitter way even though its not that reliable.

Sorry, I’ve been very busy at work and on some home projects. I will try to get back to writing something once a week again. So far this month I’ve been building a shed in my back yard and doing some landscaping. I’ve also been working on some new projects at work and will post some of the things about them soon. Have a good 4th of July everyone.

Well I’ve finally caught up to the rest of you out there and put up a blog. I’m gonna try to update at least once a week so check back often. I’ll talk about what I’m doing at work (my new notes programming job), what I am doing with my business, rmpcsolutions.com, and what I am doing at home, plus some other cool things as long as people read it.
